Eco-friendly Christmas

Black Spruce foliage and cones

Our tree looks like a freshly cut spruce although it lacks the fragrance.  Every year we rearrange its branches to creat the perfect tree then load it with twinkle lights and sentimental bells that hung on my first christmas tree (year: 1945)and nostalgic ornaments some crystal, some hand-made out of popsicle sticks and some after christmas specials too good to pass up.  Some years we tinsel it; and one year we gingerly placed angel hair on it that hung around for the next three seasons.

Gifts wrapped under the tree in newspaper or placed in recycled gift bags and boxes.

Our Eco-friendly Christmas is nearly finished.  The day is closing.  The gifts  opened.  Hugs given.  We’re wrapping it up and closing it out.

Until next year.
